Honda has Production Issues in Japan and China

Honda has said it will cut its production plans by up to 40% in Japan early in September due to persistent supply chain and logistical issues. The plant in China will remain closed. Honda’s assembly plant north of Tokyo will also cut production by 40% early next month.

Honda claims that inventory and semiconductor shortages, COVID-19 logistics, and production issues are to blame.
