Hyundai Drops Vehicles from U.S. Lineup
Hyundai is looking to focus on crossovers and building its battery-electric Ioniq sub-brand and will be dropping a few of its current vehicles. They will be cutting the Accent subcompact sedan, the Veloster N hatchback and both the hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants of the Ioniq compact car.
Hyundai believes that offering gas buyers more electrified options like hybrid and hybrid variants it will help ease them into EVs in the future.
