Hyundai/KIA Recall 91K Vehicles

Hyundai Motor and Kia said on Thursday they are recalling more than 91,000 newer vehicles in the United States because of fire risks and urged owners to park outside and away from structures pending repairs.

The recall covers Hyundai 2023-2024 Palisade, 2023 Tucson, Sonata, Elantra, and Kona vehicles and 2023-2024 Seltos and 2023 Kia Soul, Sportage vehicles. Electronic controllers for the Idle Stop & Go oil pump assembly might contain damaged electrical components that can cause the pump to overheat. Dealers will inspect and replace the electric oil pump controller as needed.

Mazda Factory Order Notice

This Factory Order notice is to inform you that Mazda has changed its factory order dealer pricing. Mazda has increased its factory ordering fee and discontinued its holdback floor plan. The result is an increase in fleet factory ordering by $500.00, which will be reflected on all future schedule A’s.

For clients who have Mazda order history, your Strategic Account Manager will be notified and will include this modification in all future quotes and life cycle cost analyses performed. Please consult your Strategic Account Manager with any questions or concerns.

Ford Recalls 870K F-150s

Ford Motor Co. is recalling more than 870,000 F-150 pickups in the U.S. for an issue that might cause the electric parking brake to unexpectedly activate while driving. The recall covers F-150 pickups from the 2021-23 model years that are equipped with a single exhaust system.

Affected vehicles might experience the parking brake activation if the wiring is damaged. Dealers are expected to be notified Sept. 11th. Vehicle owners are expected to be notified by Sept. 15th.

Exclusive Nissan Allocation

Stellantis Secures Future Microchip Supplies

Nissan Motor Co. is the first Japanese automaker to announce plans to plug into Tesla’s Supercharger network. Nissan said that its electric vehicle customers will have access to Tesla’s Superchargers in the U.S. and Canada next year. Adapters will be provided then. Starting in 2025, the region’s Nissan and Infiniti electric vehicles will also be equipped with the North American Charging Standard port, allowing the EVs to plug into the Supercharger network.

“Adopting the NACS standard underlines Nissan’s commitment to making electric mobility even more accessible as we follow our Ambition 2030 long-term vision of greater electrification,” Jeremie Papin, Nissan Americas chairperson, said in a statement.
