EV of The Year
The Hyundai Ioniq-5 has been announced as the EV of the year. It’s pricing starts at $41,245 and has many features within the vehicle including a center console that slides back 5.5 inches for more room in the front. It also has the ability for the driver to move the car forward and back using the key fob. The standard range is about 220 miles and with the larger battery you can go about 303 miles on a charge. Even though these numbers aren’t class leading, Hyundai has a 800- volt architecture battery pack that can go from 10% to 80% charge in about 18 minutes. The AWD option will hit 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, and the instrument- cluster drivetrain graphic will depict real-time power delivery to the four contact patches. This vehicle as a cool exterior design plus some exceptional features that has made this the EV of the year.
