U.S. Vehicle Inventory Falls
U.S. Inventory vehicles levels fall in July to 1.02 Million. Automakers are still struggling with production and supply issues. According to Cox Automotive the vehicle inventory is down 98,000 from a month previous. The Automotive News Research & Data Center, show that Subaru has the tightest supply at three days, with other Asian brands also running lean because of their long supply lines. Ford has the strongest inventory levels among the manufacturers reporting, at a 40 day supply. Cox has also reported the supplies with the tightest supply is among smaller cars, minivans, and vehicles with electrified powertrains.
